About The MSMEs platform:

The National Microfinance Foundation Yemen (NMFY) partnered with UNDP to develop and operate the MSMEs platform under the “Supporting Resilient Livelihoods, Food Security and Climate Adaptation in Yemen (ERRYIII)” project.
The digital solution will address the challenges MSMEs and startups in Yemen face. It will improve services and access to main challenges with focus on acceleration, access to capital, and sales and marketing.  

The main services under the digital MSMEs platform are:

A.    Tele – advisory and training.
B.    Financing portal and loans.
C.    E-commerce marketplace.
D.    Establishing business.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET and related technologies.
• Implement solid principles of software design and development, including SOLID principles.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and integration.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure high code quality and reliability.
• Follow clean code practices to maintain readability and manageability of the codebase.
• Engage in Agile Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Apply Clean Architecture principles to create scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to integrate APIs with web applications.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs using ASP.NET.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and software design patterns.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD tools and processes.
• Proficiency in writing unit tests and maintaining high code coverage.
• Familiarity with clean code principles and best practices.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture and its implementation.
• Adept at problem-solving and finding solutions to keep the team on track.
• Adaptable and open to change.
• Experience with modern frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
