About The MSMEs platform:

The National Microfinance Foundation Yemen (NMFY) partnered with UNDP to develop and operate the MSMEs platform under the “Supporting Resilient Livelihoods, Food Security and Climate Adaptation in Yemen (ERRYIII)” project.
The digital solution will address the challenges MSMEs and startups in Yemen face. It will improve services and access to main challenges with focus on acceleration, access to capital, and sales and marketing.  

The main services under the digital MSMEs platform are:

A.    Tele – advisory and training.
B.    Financing portal and loans.
C.    E-commerce marketplace.
D.    Establishing business.

Responsibilities:

• Report project progress to the Project Manager and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Board administration: Work as the administrator of the scrum board. Ensure that cards are up to date and the scrum tools like are working well.
• Scrum masters should consult with team members and internal stakeholders on how best to work with the scrum team.
• Facilitating the Scrum process ensures that the Scrum process is rigorously followed by the team. This includes conducting Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Responsible for identifying and removing any impediments that may be preventing the team from delivering value. This could include anything from technical issues to team dynamics.
• Responsible for coaching the team on Scrum principles and practices. This includes helping the team to self-organize, and to continuously improve their processes.
• Responsible for protecting the team from outside distractions and interruptions. This allows the team to focus on their work and deliver value.
• Responsible for ensuring that there is clear communication between the team, the Project Manager, and any other stakeholders.
• Responsible for ensuring that the team's progress is transparent to all stakeholders. This includes maintaining a visible product backlog and burn-down chart.
• Responsible for problem-solving and finding solutions to keep the team on track.
• Responsible for setting up DevOps and CI\CD environment and maintain to ensure keep it running.
• Manage time effectively to keep the team on schedule and meet sprint goals.
• Monitor the development team's progress, ensuring adherence to project goals and deadlines.
• Providing advice on technology best practices.
• Monitoring the success and the progress of Developers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and innovation within the development lifecycle.
• Provide technical assistance and training to platform users as required.
• Adjust to the evolving needs of the team and the project.
• Perform any related work requested by the project manager.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years as Scram Master.
• Experience working with DevOps and CD\CI.
• Strong proficiency in C# programming language.
• Solid understanding of Mobile development with dart programming language and flutter framework.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including Bootstrap5, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing secure web applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Adept at problem-solving and finding solutions to keep the team on track.
• Adaptable and open to change.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
