About Yamaan:

Yamaan Foundation is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to improving health and social development in Yemen. With a focus on reproductive health, mental health, and empowering communities, we aim to create lasting change through innovative programs and holistic approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture compelling photographs and videos to document and highlight Yamaan’s programs and activities.
• Gather and craft impactful stories from beneficiaries, stakeholders, and field activities.
• Develop and distribute newsletters to engage and inform our audience.
• Create and manage engaging social media content across platforms.
• Design visually appealing materials, such as brochures, reports, and promotional content.
• Ensure all communication aligns with Yamaan’s branding and messaging guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in photography and videography, including editing.
• Strong storytelling and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or Canva).
• Familiarity with managing social media platforms and creating content calendars.
• Ability to develop and disseminate newsletters.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Flexibility to travel to field locations for content gathering.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in NGOs, humanitarian, or social development sectors.
• Knowledge of video scripting and producing short documentaries or reels.
• Basic understanding of development communication strategies.
